Welcome to the PFI registration and contact page. If you are an educator who serves K-12 students and would like to register for one or more of the PFI workshops, please click the registration form button to the left. If you do not wish to register, but would like to receive information about workshops, please click the contact form button to the left.

Workshop registration and your stay, while attending the Pisgah Forest Institute, is free of charge and includes meals and lodging at Brevard College.

**If you sign up for the Distance Learning Workshop no deposit is required, just mail in the registration form that you fill out on-line to address below.

To hold your reservation for a workshop, we require a $50 deposit per workshop in the form of a check dated ONE MONTH BEFORE the start of the workshop.

If you register for more than one workshop, please include a separate check for each workshop.
Your check(s) will be returned to you uncashed at the beginning of the workshop(s).

Mail a copy of your registration form along with your check(s).
Once PFI receives your deposit check(s) and a copy of your registration form, PFI will notify you regarding your ‘status’ within your chosen workshop.

Make Checks payable to: "Pisgah Forest Institute" with the workshop name/date on the memo line.
Send your check(s) with a copy of the on-line registration form you filled out to:

We urge you to send in your deposit as soon as possible as our workshops, each of which is limited to 24 participants, will fill rapidly. Only your $50 deposit check ensures your registration in a workshop!

If the workshop you choose is already full by the time we receive (in our PFI office) your deposit check, PFI will notify you and give you the choice of: being placed on a wait list, applying your deposit to register for another workshop, or return your deposit check.
If you opt to be placed on the wait list, you will be notified as soon as we have an opening, or we will notify you no less than 1 week prior to the workshop if no openings become available. We have been known to have last minute cancellations.
If the workshop is still filled 1 week prior to the start of the workshop, we will return or destroy your deposit check, whichever you prefer.

If you cancel your reservation more than 30 days prior to the workshop, your deposit check will be returned or destroyed, whichever you prefer.
If you cancel your reservation less than 30 days prior to the workshop, you will forfeit the deposit.

Registrant Packet:
The ‘registrant packet’ will be made available to you no less then 30 days before the start of your scheduled workshop. This packet will also ask for emergency contact information, rooming preferences and needs, dietary restrictions (i.e. vegetarian) and other pertinent information. We will also provide a packing list, map and other information to help make your stay at Brevard College, just like being at home (almost).

Please be aware that PFI cannot provide room or board on the days between ANY of our summer workshops (on Saturdays for example).
